Itinerary
On the first day of your trip you will be picked up from Srinagar airport per your flight timings. Upon arrival you will directly transfer from Srinagar to Sonmarg You will transfer for the Gulmarg sightseeing on the first day. Complete Gondola Cable ride in the afternoon and around evening time you will drive towards Sonmarg. Upon arrival in Sonmarg check into the hotel and freshen up. Take your dinner and overnight stay in Sonmarg Hotel.
This marvellous resort is only 8KM from the Temple of Ammon Zeues and 11 KM ride for the famous Turtle Lake. The resort is also one of the finest destinations to spend the rest of day exploring Greece, their famous historical buildings and wildlife.
After Breakfast, check out from sonmarg and you will transfer from sonmarg to Kargil by road. Thereafter leaving behind the beautiful meadows of Sonamarg, crossing Baltal - the base for Amarnath Yatra, we climb up the Zojila pass 3900mtr, which is the main pass dividing Ladakh with kashmir valley. Crossing the pass one would notice the change in landscape from forested hills to dry barren mountains After the pass we arrive at Drass which is a small township and also the 2nd coldest inhabited place after Siberia. Arrive Kargil 2700m town by evening and checking at the hotel for overnight stay.
